This is a great list of social media promoters…it is good that the majority of the social networks have really cracked down on spammers. As far as I am concerned there is nothing worst then wasting people’s time, especially those who in involved in social media to make a “quick buck”…

i think the Impersonal Users is a type of Annoying Social Media.Social media is supposed to be all about relationships, yet so many people are lazy and make things impersonal. .when a person reverts to over the top annoyance just to have their story seen and forget the rules of humanity in the meantime.

From my un-expert point of view and recent experience I
have realized that if you like to maintain a clean thread that
stays on message requires maintenance. Never just follow someone
back because they are following you. DO DILIGENCE .. investicate
your follows review their tweets ask yourself are they relevant do
they have a higher tweet count what their mission statments, their
links are they clean links and never a link that goes straight into
a download loop.. etc punt...

I'm with you about the quote junkies. If I'm following you or friending you, it's because I'm interested in what you have to say, not in how well you can copy and paste.

"“not attributing sources” as one of the most evil of all internet/social media (esp. twitter) flaws!", quote from kdascheller (poster up higher) That is a great point, it's those that "retweet" without the "re". It's flattering that what I said was found worthy of repeating however I expect to get credit where credit is due.

Updates for things like breathing and going to the bathroom is tops on my list. The overdrawn out fights scores pretty high on the annoyance scale.
