True words. Maybe add “not attributing sources” as one of the most evil of all internet/social media (esp. twitter) flaws! It’s pretty painful to find you own work/tweets/… attributed to somebody else!

I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing to thank people for following you. But social media is at its best when it’s genuine in my opinion. If you’d like to thank someone I think it would be best to make an individual dm that’s personalized and directed at that individual. Sure, it may take a little more time, but anything worth doing is worth doing right. But again, this is my opinion and we’re all allowed to do it our own way

I completely agree with you on every one of your points, in particular #FollowFriday. In what is probably a douchebag move, I’ve sent the abusers a DM telling them that ten posts on #follows is annoying and if they keep it up I’ll have to drop them. I don’t measure my self-worth based on the number of followers I have, so I’m not afraid to dump the tweets I don’t give a shit about. Needless to say, I’ve dropped all those douchebags.

I do not agree with your point on picking up the book of quotes if I want quotes. Not every one has time to read quotes from book OK. Also, I really appreciate the fellow twiples who share out the excellent quotes. Quotes are wisdom from people who live before us !!! Good Quotes are ways to improve ouselves – how are we gonna improve if having only our own selves to copy or reference for?

It really are spirit uplifting, when there are time i feel down and I come across a really good quotes!!
