About

Kristy

I am a marketer. I am passionate about helping businesses focus on and improve the customer experience. Social media is not the end, rather the means. Search optimization is not the goal, it is a channel to leverage. Customer service is not an after thought, it is the red thread through the story. Every customer touch point is an opportunity to deepen the relationship between the customer and the brand.

I currently work at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) with enterprise organizations helping them to better engage with their customers and improve the bottom line. I joined PwC as part of the acquisition of Ant’s Eye View – a boutique ┬ásocial business startup I joined in 2010. Prior to Ant’s Eye View I was the social strategist for the Casual Games group (GameHouse, RealArcade) within RealNetworks.

The industry is a great source of energy and inspiration for me so I try to give back as often as possible through blogging, speaking and mentorship. I regularly guest blog – if you’re interested in having me write for your site feel free to contact me. I have been lucky enough to have been invited to speak at mozcon, PubCon, Affiliate Summit, SocialFresh, The Governors Summit on Social Media (Washington State Office of the Governor), and have also guest lectured for both University of Washington’s MCDM (Master of Communication in Digital Media) and Willamette University’s AGSM (Atkinson Graduate School of Management). If you’re interested in having me speak at your event or institution please reach out.
